Tom is an Equity Release Specialist based in Cardiff with over 20 years of experience in the later life lending sector. He has worked across both the charitable and commercial arms of the industry, including roles with StepChange Debt Charity, Legal & General, Age Partnership, and Responsible Life.
Tom established the UK's first charity-owned and operated equity release advice service at StepChange Debt Charity, and was the exclusive referral partner for the Which? Money Advice Team. He has played a key role in pioneering equity release as an interest-only maturity solution, working alongside major lenders including Barclays, Santander, Yorkshire Building Society and TSB.
Following senior leadership roles in both advice management and compliance transformation, Tom has returned to front-line client advice, joining RightHomes Equity Release in January 2026, bringing over two decades of award-winning expertise directly to his clients.
