About Richard

Richard is based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and has worked in the financial services industry for his entire career, spanning over 43 years. He started in banking at the age of 18, spending nearly nine years with TSB Bank before joining Abbey National Financial Services as an Independent Financial Adviser. He then moved to Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) in 1992 in the same capacity, and from 1998 began specialising in equity release.

In 2013, Richard joined The Right Equity Release as an Independent Equity Release Adviser, providing whole-of-market equity release advice. He continued in this role at The Equity Release Experts from 2020, before joining RightHomes Equity Release in 2023.

With over 28 years of experience advising in the equity release market, Richard is extremely knowledgeable in this field. His primary objective is making sure that equity release is right for the customer and, if it is, that they have the right product for their circumstances.
